Hi chaps!

Kenny suggested this one & I was all over it. I'm a huge fan of Hall & Oates. I got the chance to see them live at Wembley some time in the mid-80s and they were, to this day, one of the best live bands I've ever seen - electrifying!

Anyway... all the usual suspects were involved in this:

Cakewalk Studio Instruments (drums, string & Rhodes piano)
DSK Brass VST
eBay no-name bass
Charity Shop Tele

The bass line in this was an absolute bugger to figure out, but I think I got somewhere close :)

Sent the backer to Kenny and he added his vocals & did the final mix. Hat's off to Kenny for those vocal parts... I'd need helium to hit most of those high notes  ;D

Excellent job with this guys, one if my absolute favorite songs. I too saw Hall & Oats a few years ago and was super impressed, wish I could have seen them in their hayday. Well done my brothers.

Thanks guys for the comments,I always wanted do do a Hall and oats song ,the catalogue they have is immense and the live at the Appolo Dvd is something else,a brilliant duo with a brilliant band.
The thing for me on this track they done was the harmonies on their version, very soulful.
I loved them.
