"More jazz vicar?"

"That would be lovely, yes please.  If you wouldn't mind, could you pour the milk first this time?"

"Jazz, I said, not tea, you tw#t"

You are impressing the hell out of me this fest Nick. I take it there's some schooling on a wind instrument perhaps? Your intuition is ...cool...yea...cool man. I dig this piece , in fact I couldn't sit still during it.
Jazz on!

Another winner, Nick!!

Joyful and a bit experimental jazz, imo! The rhythm arrangement and bass line work extremely nicely! And the clarinet(?) sounded very good!

This could be from some film noir movie!

Well done!

No, no training.  Self taught myself to play in the late 70's using the Clash first album and the Ramones live double "It's Alive".  And I had a paperback book which taught me how to play On Top of Old Smokey.  In the eighties I remember I had a jazz guitar instruction book from the library.

Thanks, but it's not really my timing, the drums are on DM-1 and the rest is assembled in GarageBand.  I just move those little green oblongs about until they sound right to me.

One of my big influences is the music of Hugo Montenegro in the Man From Uncle (60's TV series, especially).  And I was conscious of that music whilst making this.

The whole thing began Sunday afternoon whilst we were out at the local National Trust property.  Snowballed from there.

Haha - you know those old jazz players loved their "tea". ;) Not with milk, though...  ;D

Damn, this is good. Yep, it's definitely got a 'Man from U.N.C.L.E.' (and 'Peter Gunn') vibe to it.
