Connecting to iMac and Unsupported Format (mp3)

Hi Folks

I just resolved a couple of small issues - though you might like to know that:

Connecting your MBR to your iMac works much better if you don't go through a USB hub, and

I wanted to play along to an mp3 of a song, so I downloaded the song from the net.  Upon loading the song onto the MBR got the Unsupported Format message.  Well, I bought the CD and tried the same thing, and guess what - it works.  Have no idea why, but it works!
