My Sunday morning noodle, Pine mentioned in one of my posts about me playing chords as part of the melody,
Well I remembered this one I used to do years ago there was a lot more chords in it then, I just cant remember them all,
I used my Mex Strat, I have not used this for a while I have had 2 new selector switches fitted in a year,
I bought the guitar new in 1993 and had no problems until this last year, and that is with the switches, I think the ones you buy now must be from China, You can hear the crackle when I catch the switch now and again,
Anyway thanks for listening.....

Cheers........Alex

well done Alex the  arpeggiated chords give an attractive jazzy color
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Nicely Played Alex !

Re the switch, I replaced the one on my 1983 Squier SQ Strat with an Ernie Ball 5 way Strat switch and its been working perfectly for the last 14 years. A bit more expensive but worth it !

Cheers Pete I will try it, when its working ok the Mim Strat sounds better than my USA model, so it's worth the extra money, Thanks again.....Alex

Reminds me of Herb Ellis or Barney Kessel. A brilliant bit of solo jazz guitar playing, Alex. I would have sworn you were playing a big hollow body Gibson, your tone is so authentic for this genre.
