Just read this in a music news site. Really sad to hear this. Didn't expect it at all.

I have been following the Carl Palmer Band more so the last few years and may have been a bit out of the loop with regard to Keith, but I really didn't see this coming. This is just awful.

More sad news. It's turning into a dreadful year.

I remember seeing him spinning what I'm guessing was a Hammond round on one corner. It was making a sound that you would never have associated with an electric organ. He was a real innovator.
Thanks Keith. Rest On.

I can't really remember a time when so many icons and innovators all passed in such a small time span.
Rest on!

A guy I used to work with in the early 90's (in IT) used to go on drinking benders with either Greg Lake or Carl Palmer - I can't quite remember which one, I think he said it was Greg, but over 20 years ago. In and around the Poole area in Dorset. This chap said he used to loose days/a week to solid drinking. Not good really! He also said that he (Greg) never had to work due to royalties from a xmas song - so likely to be Greg Lake. I dragged that one from the depths!

RIP Keith.

RIP Keith.

To me "the song" is Touch and Go! It has been the entrance song of my favorite ice hockey team Porin Ässät - from the eighties to present time. So many memories with this:
