Having small problems with a few rogue pops and noises on the finished mix, that i can't get to the bottom of, but i am only hearing them on one pair of headphones and not on another pair or my stereo speakers, so with any luck its not too bad!! Just don't hire me to do any mixing!!!!!!

Anyway a new one from me...

I wanna tell ya,
About my story,
Wanna tell you how I feel

Wanna tell ya
What I'm thinking
Wanna tell ya all i know

But when I try
I find it hard
The words they don't seem right
And when I play
My old guitar
The songs they all sound the same

They're just based on the  blues

I'm not much good at
writing love songs
I never know what to say

I don't have no
Fancy lines
At the end of the day

And when I try
I find it hard
The words they don't wanna come
And if I pick up
That old guitar
My fingers, they just wanna strum

Those same old blues

Such a nice crisp production on a killer tune. I'm loving the stabby chords under the Mark Knopfleresque vocals. Boy, that lead tone is gorgeous. What are the details on that?

Excellent toon Mike! It has a real Dire Straits vibe to it and that's good to my ears. Nice lead (vox and guitar) work and the solo tone is very appealing! BTW, I didn't hear any rogue pops or clicks...you can mix my songs anytime. Well done!

This sounds great to me,excellent phrasing from the vocals and a killer tone.
The recording is also great so I'm guessing what you were listening on was faulty.
Nice one,well done.

I can hear some Dire Straits feel too, but here's a lots of unique Mike 'touch' as well!

Very good tones and you sing this very well! Fine voice, indeed!

Well done, Mike!

Sounding great Mike. I also could not hear any unwanted noises in fact it's all crystal clear and nicely mixed to my ears. That guitar tone is sublime with Knopfler and Steely Dan influences i think. Vocal is perfect for the song - good work as always Mike.
