Everybody Wants - another RobboMac original

This is a chord sequence I've had on the back burner for a while but could never turn it into a guitar instrumental that I liked. I've tried it in all styles - big power ballad through to reggae/ska tunes & nothing worked. I decided to throw it over to Kenny with a Springsteen-y arrangement I did for it, and this is what he came up with... A sort of Eagles/Tom Petty crossover type tune, but still managing to put his own stamp on it. I have to say I'm over the moon with what he's done with the backer I sent him... he's rescued a sad forlorn chord sequence that was ready for the scrap heap and turned it into a great catchy slice of pop/country/rock. Very good guys! Johnny you have described the sound perfectly as being a cross between the Eagles and Tom Petty. I'm glad you didn't scrap this great chord progression....well done on the vocals Kenny!

This works... it really works. Amazing what can happen to a tune that nearly gets binned. So glad you guys have made it shine. It really is a strong track and yep, this would fit nicely on a Tom Petty album. Its an upbeat, happy and GREAT track.
