Hi all, bit of a sad song which is quite surprising as the sun's out and I normally feel more upbeat when the weather's better. Anyway a minimal piece, two guitar tracks, two synth tracks and a stereo vocal track. I used the Fender Tim Armstrong acoustic which I'm getting to grips with now, hope you enjoy.     Willie

An excellent song there.
A very heartfelt emotional song that realy draws you in to the story.
Great recording,great songwriting.
I always make the mistake of thinking some songs are auto biographic but this is a compliment as I believe what the singer is telling me ,it sometimes gets misconstrued by the person but as I said it is always a nod to the songwriter because I get lost in the story and believe them.

This tune has a forlorn Springsteen quality to it.  I would normally never point this out, but the voice warble at 1:15 or so adds a lot of character. I rewound several times.

I'd also point out that were I to mix this track, I would have had the keys too loud. There are so gorgeously supportive in this tune. Well done.
