It's time to vote for our next two festivals which will run from March 1 to April 30. Voting starts now and runs for 5 days. You can change your vote any time until the closing of the poll on February 29th. To do so, click "Remove vote" to cancel your previous vote, then vote again.

This poll is for the "Covers" festival. There is a separate poll for the "Originals" festival here:

https://songcrafters.org/community/index.php?topic=24782.0

Please vote in both polls.

Remember, "Covers" is covers only, and "Originals" is originals preferred but covers welcome unless otherwise stated in the festival's description.

Bump for The Beatles Black Album fest. I hope we get a lot more submissions.

Maybe we should aim for completing disc 3 first since it's only got 11 songs whereas discs 1 and 2 have 20 songs and 19 songs respectively. And 2 songs from disc 3 are already done, thanks to Alfredo and Farrell, so there are only 9 more to do.

Out of curiosity, how many times have festivals hit 50 songs?

Quote from: Hook on April 01, 2016, 07:21:09 AMOut of curiosity, how many times have festivals hit 50 songs?

I only quickly scanned and stopped at the year 2013, but:

  • The first BeatlesFest (2010) had 109 entries in the first two months of the fest.
  • The LiveInTheLivingRoomFest (2011) had 80 entries its first two months.
  • The UnpluggedFest (2010) got 76 entries in its first two months.
  • 70sFest (2013) got 75 entries
  • Under2Fest (2012) got 61 entries in its first two months

Other festivals have come close. For instance, if the JazzFest keeps its pace, it may pass 50 entries before it's over (currently at 33 entries in the first month of the fest).

Here are the number of songs currently in each festival jukebox in descending order. Some of them are a bit deceiving because in the early years (before June 9, 2012) we'd add songs to the festivals long after they finished. And YuleFest is an annual festival so naturally the song count is quite high.
