Still digging deeper into Sonar X3 Studio and decided to pick a victim (err,I mean.. a song   ) to experiment around to fit in one of the current festivals.

Cello, steel drums and synth bass done with MIDI with sounds in SampleTank3.  Drums are MIDI using sounds from Session Drummer and triggered by playing with sticks on an Alesis Perc Pad.  Electric bass and guitar played through a Roland Cube and recorded via line-in input from the amp.  Acoustic guitar and vocals miced in the room and run through a tube pre-amp before going into the DAW.  All editing, mixing and mastering in Sonar.
