Finally...

Seems like ages ago I started this.

One of the more straightforward Police songs, maybe.  Lead single from the Ghost in the Machine album, 1981.

Oh yes. This is one divine cover. You put your stylistic stamp on everything you touch Nick and yet you remain true to the original. A neat and enviable feat.

This took me back to the days of crinkled oddly shaped cigarettes. Not often I miss those times but this did poke the nostalgia button.

Well played Sir !  Can see you put some work into that and it's certainly paid off ! Great cover...

Well done Nick, even the straight forward Police numbers are a bugger but you did a great job with this.    Willie

Brilliant Nick, actually one of my favourite tunes and was going to try it but didn't get around to it.
I think it's because when it came out it was so different sounding from the usual police stuff.
I believe it was about Northern Ireland.
An excellent rendition of it,well done Nick.

Loved it - everything is perfect: the playing, singing, and production. Well done, Nick!

I was never the biggest fan of The Police (liked the band, but thought they became too commercial too quickly), but I thought I'd heard everything in their catalog. Not this one, though! Might be time to dig into this band again.
