Swapping emails Kenny & I discovered we share a mutual admiration for Jeff Lynne. Kenny suggested doing this one and I jumped at it. All the usual suspects involved in the backer... Cakewalk drums and the no-name £100 ebay bass, plus 2 tracks of strummy guitar (tele) panned left & right. Then I double tracked the jangly picked guitar (tele) - also panned left/right and added the slide, again on the tele.

Sent the backer to Kenny and he added his vocal parts - the Roy Orbison "I'm so tired of being lonely..." bit is eerily close to sounding like "The Big O". He also put the harmonica (or "gob iron" as we say in these parts) on the fade out & did the final mix.

I have to say we're both having a blast knocking out all our favourite covers & we're both blown away by the positive response we're getting. Thanks again for listening, chaps
