So David Bowie was never on the forefront of my musical vision but always off in the periphery. I new the classics and I checked out tracks on most releases, some floated my boat, others didn't. I really loved his outings with Tin Machine, probably my favorite and I picked up a few other cd's then. I always admired his ability to constantly be re imagining himself in creative and fresh ways. Truly a visionary to the end.
This is just a LITC track done yesterday in my chiropractors parking lot. used my Epiphone 00pro Acoustic/electric with the head stock sticking out the driver side window.

Listened to this earlier - super cover brother, its a slightly darker version, I really like the feel of this.

I listened earlier too whilst on active childcare detail so unable to comment.

I love how you reimagined the song. Reminded me of China Crisis (guilty pleasure of mine) in some ways.

And it cracks me up to think of you in a car park with your guitar sticking out of the window, singing your head off, oblivious to the world.

An excellent rendition hook,as the story goes stevie Ray played the lead but then when he heard the playback he hated it because of all the treatment nils had added to it.
This is indeed as Bruno said a darker version but it realy flows well,it's also low in the register for you to sing in this way.
Another brilliant performance from a talented Dude.

Me, too!  :D I did have one listen yesterday, though.  :)

Hook, I dig how your vocals are sounding Bowie-esque on this. Also was mighty impressed by the intricate rhythm parts you played live in the car on your guitar. Well done!
