Somebody requested we leave the "ovation" in at the conclusion of our live posts to give it that "live feel." This reaction borders on Pythonesque polite clapping. I'm not complaining, mind you. I'm very appreciative of everything short of rakes and torches.

I think I posted a version of this previously, but I failed in a search. At any rate, it would have been from a few years back.

Out of the house mixer into the Micro BR's line input. Signal was a tad hot but hopefully not too egregious.

What a great tight sound

I love this song. I used to sing it to my kids as a lullaby - they were too young to know what it was about.

I love your version

Love the playfulness of your performances - all the little add'ins, full of little musical jokes. The performances are superb , simply top notch. Lurker's voices is wonderful, and Blooby, your playing is super good, bang on the money. I'd clap enthusiastically if I were in the audience (in a very British way :-) ).

I will add one point on contention (its just a personal 'thing') - generally I hate the neck bending on acoustic. I love the sound, and you do it superbly well, completely naturally. But don't have the confidence to do it on my guitars - I'm sure the neck will detach from the body or simply snap, and it always makes me flinch - I don't know why - its illogical - but there you go :-)

Great track guys.

Brilliant stuff, chaps!

I've never been brave enough to do the neck-bend thing.

Egregious is a good word!  I mean a good word full stop - I'm not saying it applies here.....oh, you know what I mean.

You too are so good together. The whistling was a surprise and OMG I want to go over there and slap every single one of your audience members, it makes me so cross. They don't deserve you! I'd chuck them out if they did that to me, or clear off home . . .

very impressive!

 I adore the little

notes of guitar in the intro Is it you who play it???
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Great version guys, sounds like the same audience I've played for in the past. Top notch job.    Willie

Another fine live performance from Blooby and Lurker! I like the playfulness of the banter and the guitar noodling with all the extras worked in. There should have been a roar of applause (at least more than there was) after the fine job you both did on this song. I would have bought you a round as soon as I stopped clapping if I'd been there.

Brilliant, that recording is excellent,it's so clear and it makes it all the more special that the thing is live in front of an audience.
