Had to give the new PA a run through before my gig last night. This was done in my garage yesterday afternoon. It's one take with my Tascam DR-V1HD of me looping  with my Boss RC300. I'm going through my new back up PA (Kholt KPM 6200FX USB) which supposedly has reverb but it's something horrible. I bought a new Boss VE1 last night which worked out very well but is not on these vocals. Video was edited with Wondershare Video Editor & I'm kinda proud of the editing.

I see you've got your Keller Williams looping groove on. Lots of interesting bits in there. Love it when the rhythm guitar drops out but percussion remains. I'm curious where this looping rabbit hole will lead you.  Cool post.

Very cool brother, defo a one man band. I could never get my head around loopers, I always end up starting something when it should be stopping :-) That's quite some performance! Interested in how you got all the different camera angles, the video was really cool as well.

Thanks guys, I still have some issues to work out with the new looper. I'm not as happy with it as I had hoped to be. I still haven't even turned on much less explored the effects side of it but I've used the loopers at a few different gigs. Last night I used it for a 3 hour cover gig and I feel pretty comfortable with it but it has some serious design flaws. The 3 loops are not truly independent of one another, they are synched by length and tempo. The first loop is immediately set to record again after you start replay, so you have to really hit the play pedal twice or you will record something you don't want to. I like that there is an All Stop pedal but there should be an All Start on also!!!!! It's definitely an upgrade but just like the BR80, Boss changes things from the RC20 that they should have left the same.

It's actually just one camera shot with some creative cropping to give it that multi camera feel. I just figured out how to do it and incorporate it usefully this morning. I wish I had figured it out for the MET videos but oh well. I will definitely use this technique for a car video.

I'm thinking about leaving my set up in the garage and doing more doing more looping videos. I really need to play around with the effects and the cool expression pedal!!!!

Excellent looping track,I watched someone recently do a Version of with or without you on a looper and that song lends its self very well to this process.
Nice one.

Awesome Hook........really well done.  I never got too far with my looper pedal, just after
I got it I got my shoulder nerve pain thingy and can't use guitar straps any more.  Have to sit and play.  It put a damper on my looper explorations at the time.......oh well........and a bunch of other things got in the way of my playing.................it just sits there now......but I feel inspired by watching you dance on your RC300..........
you are sounding deadly here, a little more practice and.......wow.  Keep it up and post some more looping vids......I loved watching this.

I actually prefer to sit and play when effects are afoot (pun intended...I slay me). You can hit two switches at a time, which happens pretty frequently during our gigs.

It was a bit of a lame excuse I admit, I just fell into a funk...........back to Hook and his amazing ability to belt out a complete song with a small simple looper pedal, rock on Hook, you are the man.............funk on

But we could totally hijack the thread and whisper conspiratorial thoughts on loopers?
