Thanks for the kind words........ :)
I've been a bit lost without any planning or playing this week so I have had a bit of review of the Festival..........

When I dreamt up this little idea I thought 3 or 4 of us would get involved, I felt really cheeky asking Wiley. Kody and Greeny to write and sing some lyrics but to my surprise they all agreed....And because of the quality of their work I think it gave a lot of us the inspiration to get involved..........

The statistics for this little exercise are incredible for such a small active community:
6 backing tracks inspired 13 musicians to produce 35 pieces of work which had over 300 replies and a staggering 3000+ views......... :o :o

So a big well done to everybody (both on Stage and listening)...
My high-lights are
Horny Harold
Kody and Wiley with the heavy version of "Papa"
And Bluesberry's amazing harp......

Some of you guys will be getting roped in for a  "Summer Extravaganza" ;D ;D ;D ;D

I can't even begin to pick the highlights ... too many to choose from with such a diversity. Any many of the contributors showed a new side of themselves ....

Oh well ........

Bluesberry

For me the highlight was the great feeling of participating in something much bigger and grander than just myself, all the great support from everybody, not one negative comment in the whole of those 300+ replies, and now the record I have of this event in the form of all this music to listen to forever.

Thanks 48, Wiley, Tim & Kody.  Thanks to all the guitar slingers (and one Horny Trumpeter) for all this super fine blues music we made together.

and everyone else.....those backers were a musical delight for the ears

Bro

If you loose track over a chord progression, play as fast as you possibly can. Nobody will know. Thats how they invented bebop.

Wiley

My highlight is the very last jam song. That everyone played on. That is PRICELESS!!!!  All together.

Greeny

I agree with that. I'm working my way (slowly) through all the posts, but that finale is really special...
