Tune for the Xmas festival...

Its a cover of an old hymn... but its been covered loads since... loads of version on you tube. Really needs a good vocal on top... but i ain't going there!!!

Anyway just on guitar (2 tracks) and piano and synth (software instruments).

Xmas on y'all... think I'm gonna pour myself a nice whiskey or something!!

You created a believable atmosphere - nice piece.
There is a beautiful symphony playing within us all..

It is that time of year and i was digging on Mike's page looking for another song of his I heard that I was trying to remember and I saw this....I love this Mike....it really reminds me of the longing that this song is all about...the longing for the union with the divine...  I did a version of this earlier (silly me, just before the fest)... it's quite a bit different than this...

Truly atmospheric. A brilliant version. Lovely sound and tones just right. Deserves to be accompanied by a decent peaty Island single malt at the very least  ;)

I am sitting here in my studio and I had to listen again...and I have it on loop... this piece is so amazing and ethereal....it literally transports me elsewhere...so I created a bit more atmosphere to go with music atmosphere.....
