Very unusual weather, here, for the time of year; blue skies and quite warm, in fact one could easily confuse it with an earlier Season...

There is a beautiful symphony playing within us all..

Jean Pierre

excellent piano and vocal...

Hegg, if you had not seen, it will interest you certainly...the story of this song Autumn leaves
I post the video which I made on YT on this song because it is interesting to know where from comes this song universally known
This song consisted in 1945 by Prevert and Kosma for ilustrate  the movie " les portes de la nuit " with Yves Montand.

The movie was going to be a failure.... but the song interpreted by Yves Montant was going to become, translated into English, a standard of the Jazz " Autumn Leaves "

I mixed film frame with my cover

Here, the video clip and song

I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Thank you for your post and the link.

Happy Christmas.

Johnny Robbo

A beautiful version of one of my favourite songs. I first discovered this song via the Cannonball Adderley/Miles Davis version, but yours has to be one of the best interpretations I've heard. Wonderful in every way!!!

Thank you, Johnny, for the lovely compliment.
 - based loosely on Eva Cassidy's interpretation, which remains, for me at least, the most stunning vocal performance of the song - I don't know that it will ever be improved upon...

...here is a link should you have not heard it..
