Super recording/cover of this Styx classic - I haven't listened to this track for years, and really enjoyed it. I actually really like the sound of tape - a friend of mine had a pro recording studio and always recorded drums on tape and then transferred it to the digital domain (Prologic) for the rest of the process - he used this for some significant artists (Julian Cope and StarSailor, to name a few), and swears blind that is the way to do it. I'm uncertain - but this recording sounds great.

What a treat of a post. Great recording and a fun tune to cover. This is one of those bands I never listened to much back in the day  but am appreciating them more these days. Everybody did their parts so well here, and the production is clear as a bell.

Undoubtedly, the guys (and the girl) are too good in songcrafters...

merci pour ses découvertes...
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

What a great recording!  I always liked Styx and got to see them at Wembley back in the 80s.  This is a fine rendition of a great song.

That was a great cover!  I'd definitely buy a round if I heard that in a pub.  Well done!

Haven't heard this in years, this is genuinely cool. It must bring back memories for you, I can imagine... 35 years? Fantastic!
I assume Tommy Shaw sang the original? Your vocalist was very close to his sound, really great.
