I hear what you say on the key change, Leigh. The first demo I did of this didn't have it in & it sounded a bit "flat" to my ears. The effect I was going for was like "kicking it up a gear as it roars off into the distance". That's my rationale for it anyway

Paul... well spotted, mate - some pick tapping a la Satch. I use this technique to approximate that lick that Gary Moore used to do, in many of his solos, trilling on an open string (which I'm useless at!)
