Hello. It's me again.

This is my new christmas song.

Genre is pop with little twist of hip-hop. No loud guitars this time.

Language is finnish. No translation this time, because lyrics included some native finnish inside phrases which you don't understand, even if I translate them to you in english.   ;)

Nice one!!
It is indeed impossible to translate well, except for the chorus which celebrates being able to spend x-mas at home for once instead of having to work through the holidays.
In the verses there is some clever use of Finnish language idioms, like the fact that Finnish phrase "nostetaan painoja" actually means both "lifting weights" and "gaining weight" which the lyric kind of plays around with.
Explaining these would probably take pages and kill the fun anyway :)

This is a cohesive sound, Kostiainen.

I find myself wondering how it would change if we upped the BPM by, say, 15. Would it add more bounce, or just make it frenetic? I have no idea why I wonder these things ...

It's great to hear something that's not in English too.
