I'm livid as a lobster right now! Tax day does that to me. Good energy to fuel the Micro, though. Last night I put together a rant filled with the issues of friends and family that was bounced, bounced, bounced right into a train wreck  :P However, share and share alike so I'm putting it up. Tried to put in some of the previous posting, but I couldn't get the tone back - frustrating.

Lessons:

A six string can be turned into a bass - just harder to pluck. NOTE: jim1970's "Texas Radio" post inspired the attempt - Thanks!
Got more experience messing with the knobs.
The undo/redo button should have at least one fingerprint on it!  ;D

Peace, everyone!

Absolutely love this!

You captured that vibe completely.

Excellent bass sound for a six string.

Wow this is great work!! Extremely good production/playing/singing, and you've just got your BR???  Your "Six Million Dollar Man" was cool but this is fantastic, really looking forward to hear more from you.

Thanks again, everyone! Geir, yes everything was done with the MBR - nothing but the MBR/Cheap Guitar for me. It's getting tougher, 'tho, but I love it - I've climbed to V5 on the bounce elevator!  :o

Cool beans,

This is brilliant - love the summer in the city reference! Great minimalist stuff that uses repetition well to build the song without getting boring. Superb feel to this, love all those little vocal nuances and fuzzy guitar sounds. Just way  8) 8) 8)

Good job on the production as well. You just need to get rid of the metronome at the start, which is quite easy - before mastering, just change those stpes in the drum arrangement to blank rather than metronome.

Cheers,

Nigel
