For the Fallen - Officer Swasey

Last Friday, a terrible attack at my wife's health clinic left 3 people dead and 9 wounded. One of the dead was UCCS Police Officer Garrett Swasey. Officer Swasey rushed to the scene and was one of the first patrol officers on the scene. Officer Swasey was gunned down and his life was extinguished. Garrett laid his life down to defend those fellow officers wounded, my wife, her staff, and the patients at the scene.

Garrett, you saved my wife, I shall never ever forget you. I wrote this song as a tribute. RIP

I really don't know what to say about this Mick,it's a really touching tribute to such a Brave man.
I can only imagine the fear and hurt that everyone experienced ,this is such a mixed up twisted world,but it survives and moves on by the action of brave and kind people like this officer.
I hope everyone finds the strength to move on and build on the gift that this brave guy has given them,a second chance at life.
May he rest in peace.
