Life's been pretty hectic recently... the closure of Redcar's steel works has been a bit of a blow for me - many of my customers were employed there & now they're out of work with no money to spend on guitar lessons. Also, my missus has an ongoing health problem which has flared up in the last couple of weeks, so between taking care of her & trying to drum up new business, I've not had a lot of time to devote to music... or much of anything else for that matter, hence my absence of late. Apologies to anyone who's waiting for me to crack on with a collab... I haven't forgotten you, please bear with me!

Anyway... I had a spare hour the other night so I let rip with my charity shop tele over a blues backer I made a few months ago. I normally just use this kind of thing for warming up, but I hit the record button this time & was quite pleased with the results - one take, warts 'n all: see if you can spot all the bloopers!

Oh... and if you fancy a go at this, the backer's here:

And here's what I did with it:

Fabulous, I don't know about warming up, I'd need a lay down after trying to play like that. Just wonderful. I hope your wife feels better soon.   Respect Willie
