Lovely playing. Great comping, soloing, and that bass...what a cool groove. Really fine post. Would love some percussion. R.I.P. Raul Rekow who just died a couple weeks ago.

I always dug this whole album even though it gets panned by Santana purists (the early purists, that is). That track "Zulu" always send me. And his tone on (The cheesy but loveable) "Let the Children Play" is one for the ages.

Thanks to you all.  I like this recording too.

I can't take the credit for the rhythm guitar playing even though I played everything on the recording. I had a jam with someone a while back and I suggested we do Moonflower showed him the chords and he just had what I think was a natural feel for rhythm so that's the way I play it now.

I've never owned the album Moonflower Blooby but I did have a listen to the two tracks you mentioned and I agree I think Zulu is the better track.
