Thank you all very much for your great comments earlier. JB's a powerful songwriter, singer, and multi-instrumentalist.

Thanks for the bump, Diego!

Yes, we're back at it again....  "Take it from the top. Once more with feeling"  :-[ ::)

Soundcloud and Soundclick changed their mp3 players so we can't imbed them in our posts, just the url links. So here's the video JB created for his song:

A real good song J.B. Beverley and DD. The songwriting, the singing, the lyric and the dobro are all excellent. Some real talent here!

Thanks for the video ~ growing up in a large family, and with dual citizenship, one of those USA ~ ended up with 4 brothers in the USA Army ~ two older during the Vietnam conflict, and two younger (twin brothers) who joined in 1982 ~ and they both retired from the Army - one after 23 years, and his twin after 31 years ~ and one of my older brothers also retired from the military after 22 years ~~~  and, well soldiers do what we ask of them ~ Some times War is the last alternative, but not always ~~~  As I heard this song, was thinking about my brothers and their families ~    abrazos

Missed this first time round so I'm glad it got bumped up. A beautiful piece of music with superb lyrics that really tell the story of many veterans' experience very well. A fitting tribute to the service of so many.
