I was wondering exactly the same thing! 
Actually the specs details are not clear about the "out" of the iRig acoustic, but I think that if not in the line in, it should go into the mic input of the recorder.
We'll see...

Looks cool, but I think I'll wait until they release a "HD" version. That is, one that connects to the lightening/30-pin connector. My experience with the iRig vs the iRig HD is that the HD is FAR FAR better!

I see IK Multimedia has released a new "AmpliTube Acoustic" app as well that sounds good, but feels like a ripp-off. I've already got AmpliTube with some IAP. Will I now have to buy the 8-track recorder once more as an IAP in AmpliTube Acoustic?
