Been in lurk mode, but this caught my eye. I had the good fortune to see him back in the early 80's. I need to listen to more of him. This is just wonderful. Sounds so good all the way around. The delayed vibrato on that note in the beginning of the solo was worth the price of admission alone. Great, great cover. Killer vocals as well. Damn, fine post.

Thanks Paul, SE, and Blooby for the good words! I usually don't get involved in many covers due to having done that for many gigging years but maybe it's time for the full circle thing to kick in.....I love listening to Rory but this the first one of his songs I've tackled.

Lovely stuff guys. Great to hear people keeping the candle burning for Rory. Great cover, really pro, some sweet guitar - lovely tone - just right, and great vox too. Mix is great too, sounds lovely.
