New Toys

Started by The Gobi Desert Canoe Club, November 10, 2015, 04:37:05 AM

As some of you will have realised I bought a Mandolin a week ago but also at the same time I got tempted yet again and bought a new acoustic. It's a Fender Tim Armstrong Hellcat (silly name) and I'm trying to get used to the neck which is a bit flatter than I'm used to but practise makes perfect or at least better. I hope to post something simple later today or tomorrow depending how I get on.  Regards Willie

That's a beauty. Being a bit limited on guitar, I'm never really bothered by different neck sizes and cambers.

Looking forward to hearing it :-)

Nice looking mandolin.  Not totally sure about the cat inlays on the acoustic - am I the only person in the world that doesn't like cats?  The skulls are pretty cool though.

Very nice new toys - and I see the mando is electric (piezo?). Congrats, Willie!
