Geir, this is...........priceless! Very well put together peice~ Your harmonies are great! Your playing is perfect~ and your recording technique is obviously working like a charm!! I like where this song takes me~ reminds me of living in the 80s while thinking of the 70s...even though I wasn't alive in the 70s!  I have to agree with the guys who hear the CSN influence~ I hear it too, and I LOVE it~ You make me happy to own a MBR!! ~I love every aspect of this song/production~~Cut like a precious stone~~

Thank you so much for the nice feedback. This is a song I was pretty happy with, even the lyrics. And it really feels good getting this warm reception from all of you, whom I admire very much for your talents!

QuoteI, too, hear the Stills and Nash influence.
Kinda funny since I don't have any CSN albums :D But I see what you guys mean ....

QuoteI can picture sitting at an Irish pub listing to a tune like this.
well thank you! If you ever do that you're more than welcome to buy me a Guinness 8) , but it was actually written and recorded at my cabin. You can see the view that inspired me here:

Bravo!  :)
Quite an accomplishment to write, play and produce this all on the same day. I really like the clean sound of the guitars and vocals on this. The parts are well-arranged and each part has its own place in the mix.  Nice job!

These days I merely dabble at being old and wise.
But I swear, I used to absolutely excel at being young and stupid.

This song does not sound like it was "just written" -its well written and I live the vocal feel.

Holy smokes! WOW dude! This is amazing, I LOVE the vocals, and the vocal harmonies. I am really stunned...... OUTSTANDING! This would have an audience on the world stage my friend. It IS that strong.

This is just fantastic. I've been playing a lot of posts tonight and the diversity and talent continues to amaze and impress. This is another shining example - such a bright and light feel to this song. Your vocal harmonies are really impressive here and work superbly well. Great simple structure, very effective, well produced. Great job.

Cheers,

Nigel

I wish i could do such recordings, just quick!

Great job, love the strumming guitar!!
If you loose track over a chord progression, play as fast as you possibly can. Nobody will know. Thats how they invented bebop.
