Hello everybody

I dont know if I must put this thread here or in forum collaboration?

OK, I begin it  to make a backtrack with BIAB.
It is a measure has 3 times  I take the same tempo than Eric Bogle's version and John Munro
The tone of Eric is capo 3 in D position (F in fact  ?)

I would like to put a few Wisthle Low D in the version also I begin the backtrack in tone D but for the singing(song) if it is better,  we can transpos in the tone which we want

I shall like to sing this song but my English is not good and the song is long!!...
I think that the voice of Tommy would be well on this song

If Mike wants to make the second voice there is a beautiful melodic line in the second voice sung by John Munro in the version:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gqVGshDc-CM

When the backtrack BIAB is put , we can remove and add all that we want: for example a bass linede (I have no rather simple bass in BIAB

Everybody  are welcome! ..it is possible to do different alternative version

I would like to do a good version for our friend Eric Bogle who was kind enough to answer me

Looking forward to hearing this guys, I will look out for it Tommy / Jean Pierre.

I will look out for it and add some backing vocals if it works. My bit could be an alternative version as i was saying when i record vocals they are coming out muddy / not really clear and professional, but i will give it a try and see.

If someone else wants to jump in for backing vocals either, might be good (not least cause i wouldn't classify myself as a singer per say!!).

Anyhow looking forward to hearing it guys!!
