Multi-Tasking

I normally think of this as a Springtime song, as this is when Tina conjures up lots of suggestions for the forthcoming year. I spend the summer dodging the tasks, but by Autumn I have to, at least, get through some of them. Anyway, this song is my explanation of why her "tasks for me" just don't seem to get done.

The woman screaming on the track is one of the "Carshalton Girls", who joined in on our weekly singsong get-togethers. It always amused me that the women-folk had to scream throughout this song - they always seem more vocal and less inhibited after a few drinks during the evening.

Adding inches whilst I'm fasting, that's what I call multitasking.
Evolving for a million years, on junk food, and lots of beer.
No longer fit in designer gear !

You might say I'm single-minded, one task first, the next behind it.
For doing many things at once, disturbs the peace, no time for lunch.
Computers try to get ahead, fancy apps that hyper-thread.
Program's crashed, my keyboard's dead ! (scream)

Why are girls so complicated, hard to please, I feel frustrated.

Cool track - lots of fun had by all. I really enjoyed the upbeat feel of this song, very nicely recorded and produced :-)

The vocal on this is superb, really well mixed. I like a song where someone has put a lot of work in the lyrics and this is what we have here. Great sounding track. Well done.
