Lovely part of the country John we were up their the other year in a tepee the stars looked excellent at night. A great place to be if the weathers on your side. The dog looked like he loved it....

Thanks chaps. Glad you liked the pics. It is a beautiful part of the world - I lived over there for a few years in the '80s when I was at a Radio Officer training college on the shores of Lake Windermere.

Yes, mate... I married a Toronto girl. She's a massive Maple Leafs fan. I enjoy the odd game from time to time when we can get them on UK TV... She tried to get me into baseball too, but it didn't really take, I'm afraid.

You'd think so, but no... we were so lucky with the weather that week. Bit of a chilly breeze though, hence the warm coat.
