this song is one of the very 1st I recorded , on the zoom hd 8/ I now have a hd 16, but had a lot of hiss on the 1st version of this song which I uploaded a few months ago but now with the help of modern tech I have somehow managed to clear it up , when I 1st started recording my own songs I couldn't understand why I was getting so much hiss , on the guitar which is a fender telecaster, I know they are known for hiss but I found out it was the lead I was using which was a stereo lead instead of a mono , the wonders of modern tech lol  hope you like it the voice is a bit rough in places .  thanks for all your comments , its great to hear fellow musicians commenting on your work, as some sites they just don't bother thanks again for your time, ps this song was 1st recorded in 2010.     tonyc

Loved the vocals. Rough, yes, but in a right kind of way. Cool bluesy rocker. The mix felt quite a bit too wide on earphones, the guitars were really distant on each side, but sounded much better when I switched to monitors.

What a great song, Tony.  You have a fine voice - hints of Joe Cocker/Roger Chapman but with your own grit and soul in spades!

A great listen.

A really pro sounding recording. Love the vocals... shades of Joe Cocker to my ears. A great bit of classic blues rock with a slightly funky edge. Brilliant!

Hi Tony,

Great funky blues belter.

Love the guitar on the right and the synth horns on the left.

Terrific vocals and really good arrangement.
