So here is yet another instrumental piece from me.  No electric guitars this time.  The acoustic was played on my old Ovation - both DIed and miced.  There is a bit of mandolin in there and loads of keyboards.  It goes on a bit too long but having laboriously recorded the finger picked acoustic guitar bit I was committed to this length.  It is called "The Wrong Road Home."

Stunning track!! Excellent composing and playing! This has nice prog rock feel...a ghost of Jethro Tull!
Enjoyable listening!

Very well done Paul! The acoustic sits perfectly and sounds great in the mix. The flutes really does give it the Tull vibe.

Test, test, one, two, three.....is this mic on?

Hook

Really excellent composition, I thoroughly dug this. Was driving and did not think it went on too long at all. In fact I listened twice. The mix is so clean and just marvelous playing.
Rock on!!

Great piece Paul, good music can never be too long. I get the Tull vibe but for some reason Family came to mind as well. I kept expecting Roger Chapman to start singing at any minute.  Loved it.  Willie

I hear the Jethro Tull vibe on this, also. Love the bass part in particular & the way the strings come in is utterly gorgeous. Superb in every way :)
