William Butterstone

In April 1990, The body of a new Born Baby was found just outside Dunkeld where I live, he was actually found just outside the next village along called Butterstone, The people of Dunkeld and Butterstone made a collection for the little fellas Funeral and Headstone, Not knowing who he was they called him William, and as he was found in Butterstone he was given that as a surname..
I visit the cemetery a couple of times a week to visit friends graves, but I always stop and tidy his grave and put the odd flowers on it, Last year a friend of ours got some money unexpected and paid to have the Gold leaf writing redone, So I decided to do a little song for him, whoever he may be..

When something tragic happens around us, as song writers we feel compelled to express how we feel in the music we write. You have certainly made a great job of it here.
