had fun with my woolies strat and br800 yesterday. so go them out again today, before hand i was messing about with some drum loops. so created the drum track on my pc and recorded it to br800. then just kept adding. three stereo guitar tracks, one stereo bass track 4 stereo juno tracks and one stereo vocal track, so there was a few bounces, may need a remix.

i can tell you for sure
i can tell you for certain
that i don't know
but i'm still learning
i'm still finding my way
trying to make sense
of this chaos around me
yeah i'm still learning
i don't know what i'm doing............
but i try my best
to still be surprised
yeah i'm still learning
trying to find patterns
in the randomness
something i can recognise
but i'm still learning
i don't know what i'm doing............
but i try my best
to still be surprised
yeah i'm still learning

Oh yeah this is just perfect to my ears. A lovely build of instruments where not one overpowers the others. And yeah, the day we stop learning we may as well chuck it in. Would have got a golden Willie Award if I could have found the jpeg. Willie

hi alex, for this one i didn't use the br800's built in mics.

i had planned to as i used them quite successfully for my previous song on br800.

however my house was just too noisy and br800 mics are just too sensitive.

so i plugged my microbr into the br800 via the line in and recorded that way.

on the micro br i used the fornylon setting with tap delay turned on and noise suppresion turned on too.

being able to hold the microbr in my hand immediately elements about 80% of the background noise.

Really like this, James.

The soundscape takes me back to Cocteau Twins era shoegazing a little, but the drums and bass are bold enough to pin all the dreaminess down.

You may still be learning, but your guitar work gets better and better!

Fab song and performance.

No need for any tinkering or remixing to my ears.
