Thanks for all your lovely comments.  :)

I suppose I should've said that we recorded the backing track using iPad Garageband, where I laboriously played & edited the instruments until correct.
Then added bass (me), backing acoustic & vocals (Graham), recorded on our Boss BR800s.
Next I transferred the whole song back to the BR800 for mastering, before converting to mp3 with Audacity.

Graham shot the entire video on a Nikon bridge camera (not sure which model) & then produced it using Windows Movie Maker.

No commercial software was harmed during this process ;)

We're now up to nearly 300 hits on the video for the week, which (believe me) is practically viral for us!  ;D

I thought I commented on this one already. Like the others, this one sucked me in straight away. Congrats on the 300 hits in a week. Impressive.

Many thanks for your kind words guys. We've had a fantastic respons to this track, and your comments on here really are the icing on the cake. The track itself was a pain in the neck to do (personally) due to how HUGE the Johnny Cash version is, and how I have to try to do it justice, hence it took months, over and over again. :)
The video was a hoot to make, we were probably 'quite professional looking' from a distance, but close up? Naah. Drunken tomfoolery more like! Came out well though!
Thanks again, and keep at it!

Graham.
