Well this year we have had a crap summer, yesterday was probably one of the hottest days we have had with 23 degrees, and last night we had a beautiful sunset about 6.30, and a frost this morning.

We just had ouf hottest Spring day in Melbourne on record: 35C.

Its the earliest start to the bushfire season ever as well.

I work for the Victoria State Environment department, which is the dept that fights fires on public land.  We are all a little concerned about how harsh this coming Summer may be. We sent fire fighters to Canada this year to help out in the Northern Summer.

Just shows how different things can be because I would have loved a mild Summer
