I haven't posted anything on here forever, so I yanked something out of the archives to share. No recording much for me lately. Thought I had posted this before but I guess not; could not find it on here.

I whipped this up one day after seeing a video of Billy Corgan play an acoustic ACDC cover on the sidewalk somewhere. (maybe Paris or something, I don't remember.) I gave this one a "live" feel by inserting a whirlwind of technical flaws.  ;) :D  Enjoy!

Billy Corgan?! No Way!! Dude, you definitely pulled this off!! Your voice comes eerily close to that of Billy's....Nice thinking with the technical flaws~ I didn't notice any btw~ I should've thought of trying that though heeheehe!!!

this is simple and very efective. i just love Andrews singing.

Let's go with "clean and natural" tone. Great sound - are you using the built in mic? I am yet to try it myself.

BTW, what are you gonna do with that gremlin?  :o

Billy Corgan is the frontman for the Smashing Pumkins~  And the Gremlin.....I think played bass for Stevie Wonder in the 80s?!

Mark, yes that was the built-in mic. Aside from some reverb, I think I used +2 sensitivity setting and the FarDistance vocal effect.

I think I am going to follow suit and put the gremlin in the microwave. Wasn't that standard procedure for the evil ones?

It worked in the 80s.......Remember the one named Spike~He was the leader....heehhe



I could have sworn you were using your MXL 990!! That onboard sure sounds great!!
