Our first experience of alien life could be a bit of a let down though - a bit of a damp squid!

They might have to re do some of the old meeting up with alien movies, but never gonna have as much impact when the big doors open on the spacecraft like in ET and just lying there maybe dribbling down the walkway is some type of algae!
