Also not familiar with the original, but I really dig the contrast between the clean arpeggios and that awesome fuzz sound (it's really quite special).

On the weekend when I was playing about with Tiny Girls (the song Tiny Girls), initially it was the Les Paul, which has fresh, barely used strings. Then I switched to the Telecaster and I thought shit these strings need changing, they sound really dull.

Then today in the OTD jukebox this comes up which mentions that I used new strings. That was the last time they were changed, seven years ago.

All you "not familiar with the original," "vaguely remember this," "wasn't into them," people are just  wrong. Mend the errors of your ways.

You got a great guitbass sound there. Did you cheat and use more than three strings? I won't tell.
