This is fun, and it sounds like you are having fun.

I know – and love – the experience of not knowing exactly what sounds a new instrument is going to make.

Last week I was talking to my kabosy teacher about "The Beginner's Mind" – a concept I first learned about in the book Zen Guitar: It the state of mind when you are sure of nothing, yet completely open to whatever happens next.

I find that state easier to achieve with an exotic instrument (or exotic tuning) than with a standard-tuned guitar or bass.

I love the experimentation with new instruments (and the riff you found sounds fantastic with the tres), me too i'm experimenting with an exotic intrument: the electric guitar lol. Jockes apart, it's very inspiring, and I'm curious to hear where it can lead you
