It's good to hear your influential and thoughtful music again Greeny! I like this verse, especially the 3rd line. I think it sums up a lot of feelings that songwriters have:

"And we don't read or recite our lines
Every second Thursday of the month
We nurse our drinks and back pocket scraps of poetry
And hope that dreaming is enough"

Well done and welcome back from the dark-side of Green!

Happy Greeny Thursday! Welcome back - we've missed you around here, Tim.

Love the new song - that's one catchy chorus, and everything sits beautifully in the mix. I also dig the spare drums and the extended instrumental break and coda. Just a fine, fine song.

Nice to hear a new Greeny song - listened to this earlier, really nice sound. Great lyrics - sounds like you are fed up with London, I with you on that point. Mind you, and up to 'the smoke' this Friday (Dave Gilmour at the Albert Hall) :-)

Deeelightful!

Fine lyrics on top a solid but relaxed track, reminded of Neil Finn a little.
