Long time, no see!

A couple of years ago I was involved in too many songwriter forums, so I decided to cut back to just the first one that I joined.  Unfortunately, it's a ghost town these days.  I'm glad to see Songcrafters still going strong!

Here's my latest.  It's an attempt at rockabilly.  I think my recordings are quite a bit better than the last time I was here.

Thanks everyone!  I'm glad you enjoyed it.   ;D

Here's my setup for this one:

I record and mix with Ableton Intro on my computer.  My interface is a Scarlett 2i2.
drums- Kat KTMP1 Multipad
bass- Epiphone Dot played through a Vox AC4TV mini stack and dropped an octave in Ableton
guitar- Gretsch 5420T with a Joyo Analog Delay pedal played through a Vox AC4TV mini stack.  I turned the amp up enough to get a little natural overdrive.
microphones- Shure SM57 for instruments and an audio technica AT2035 for vocals

Hook

Hey brother, nice to see you back & this sounds really cool. I've always been a rockabilly fan but was never a good enough guitar player to pull it off. I like your hook and over all sound is crisp and edgy, I dig! As I was was listening and commenting this morning to the latest song jukebox, I noticed your comments on a bunch of songs. I really love the way you just jumped back into participating. Wish this would have been in the jukebox, as that is usually my 1st stop, but glad I found it!!!
Rock on!
