Scottish met

Hi dudes,I messaged old rotten head today and we are looking at orginising a Scottish met in late November .
This will take place in shadow sound rehearsal studios in Clydebank .
If any of our songcrafters from around here would like to join in please send me a message and I'll forward you the details on it.

i know alan bishop who owns redeye studio in clydebank, might be another option for us. and there are a few venues with open mic nights we could mibbes do a wee acoustic set.

Awesome Kenny, for organising this - lots of recording and pictures please. I'd come, but it quite a distance - and I don't know my way. If I were American, I'd probably come for the afternoon - our American brothers don't appear to perceive distance the same way as us Brits   I still find it amazing that Blooby and Lurker came to join us for the night with a 3.5 hour drive each way !!!! And Hook made the journey to see me several times, despite a busy work schedule.

MET's are awesome, as these folks are our all brothers, and you have an instant connection to them. I loved every minute of mine, and I'm sure those who make the trip will get equally as much. If the opportunity is on your doorstep, just do it. :-) If it ain't that far, but your unsure - go with the flow and join in - you will have a blast - guaranteed!!!

If you hold it in Bassaleg village hall I may be able to pop down for 20 minutes after I've bathed the little 'un.  On a Wednesday.

I'd love to be able to come up though, really like to do a met.  Sounds like it's gathering momentum and will be unstoppable soon...
