This is much better than YOU think it is - just sounds to me as if you need to run through it a couple of times more.
Your voice has a nice tone - is this the original key? - you hit the note on "..lords.." effortlessly. It is worth you digging in and really improving on those parts you're not so happy with; when that is done you'll have a fine version of this song - great potential in what you've posted...stick with it!

Ta Heg! Listening back now I really don't know why I stuck this up to be honest - I think it's awful LOL! 'Twas a first take - I don't even know the chords & just winged it (or should that be 'wung' it??!) Obviously I'm familiar with the song but only as 'a listener' I'd never attempted play it before. Maybe I'll come back to it & give it another go (that said, I've got a stack of my own stuff I need to carry on with! I'm trying to put an album together which is harder than I first thought!) Anyway, CHEERS! ;-)

Not awful at all! In fact, very well-winged.

But I can appreciate how you'd rather concentrate on your own songs rather than spend more time working on a cover. However, I'd also certainly have a listen if you ever decided to revisit this song.

So with that said, I'm glad you posted this, just as it is. Nice one, man.
