I've had a lot of kind comments and requests for more banjo posts. I really appreciate this. It's a real motivation to improve and practise. Banjo is really my 'thing' at the moment. This tune I learned from BANJO BEN's website. I can't recommend going to his site enough. His video teaching and his TABS are the best I've seen. They go from basic to very advanced. 'Salt Creek' is one of his intermediate tunes. He is also very funny! I pay $19 for a month's access to all his material which is less than one lesson with a teacher, so an absolute bargain.

A few fluffs and it needs to be twice as fast!

Who doesn't like a bit of banjo pickin'?
A couple of mistakes, sure, but all good musicians throw in a mistake or two just to see if the audience is listening  ;)
There is a beautiful symphony playing within us all..

I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

I love to hear this kind of playing. I keep promising myself I'll get a banjo & give it a go. You might just be swaying me in that direction. Great playing!

Loved it!

Not familiar with the piece, but I love the sound you got and your playing sounds pretty fluid and fast enough to my ears. Couldn't hear any mistakes myself, but I always hear mine in my own recordings. :)

If I ever get a banjo (it's within the realm of possibility), I'm headed to BANJO BEN'S!
