I forgot about my new bass. It`s a "90`s"  :D Fender P bass MIM. i got for the same price as i sold my
HD Pod for so i thought it was a great swap. And it had Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounder pickups too.

That quantum leap pedal sounds pretty feckin' cool. What a haul my brother, sorry to hear about the 2nd job, unless it's as a gigolo. Can you quit it now that you have the gear? No excuses for absence now, you got to play that shi$!
Rock on my brother!

Thanks a lot everyone. To be honest for the last 15 years i have not bought myself much at all. Put my kids first so now that they have jobs and one getting married next month, it`s time to spoil myself. The amps are really just replacements of what i had and effects are used to only taste. Right now i could survive with my distortion and overdrive pedal because in the end the fingers do the walking and talking always.

I haven`t much time to mess around with the quantum leap as i just got it but it isn`t confusing at all. There are different lights for every mode you are in and then you just twist knobs to taste. The effects are so warm and organic. When you push power tubes you really hear the difference.

I want to stay simple now and a real analogue pedal board is my comfort zone. The Line 6 HDPOD effects i had just didn`t measure up to what i have now in my opinion. I think what i disliked about the Pod and these digital effects was squinting into a little screen and too much time to adjust to taste. And their forum is the worst with 10 different answers to a question. Made my head spin!!

Forums are not for me and no Songcrafters is not a forum in my mind. It`s a home.  :)
