So i found a way to get your G.A.S toys without feeling guilty and being broke. Get another job!
That`s exactly what i did and why i haven`t been around and well i have other fun hobbies too.

Anyway i needed an amp and after talking with a tech he advised me not to buy anything that`s
younger than mid 80`s if you want to fix it cheap and if you want your money back. Here up in Canada eh, Kijiji which is like craiglist basically is the best way to get old and new gear. I traded pedals for pedals and cash in parking lots and places like drug deals going down.  ;D

I was looking for a Marshall JCM 800 but ran a little impatient and got lucky on this 1979 Fender Twin Reverb.
I got a really sweet deal on this. Bought it from a 19 year old kid who played psychedelic stuff. Theres hope for the future. The Fender cleans are so crisp and golden sounding. Not a great pic sorry.

I know i needed a distortion pedal now because the Fender has none so i did some research and trying some out and i opted to go with the Blackstar HT Dual. It has a preamp tube in it as well. So now i have a 3 channel
loud 130 watt amp that i got for $1000 Canadian. Its a great deal to me. And i sold my Mesa for more money so i only gained.

I picked this guitar up 3 days ago. Charvel San Dimas Japanese. Out of the U.S.A, Mexican and Japan versions.
This one ranks the best and i love playing it. It is the cheapest out of all 4 of mine right now but it plays really nice.

I wanted a new wah as my chinese Vox died and no replacement pots are available and too hard to replace with a dunlop pot. Never buy a chinese Vox.

Anyway after trying a couple i went with MC404 Custom Audio Electronics Dunlop cry baby.
It has that vintage cry baby sound which i wanted and also a warm lower frequency wah sound. You can also change the sweep of it and it also has a boost and true bypass. No tone sucking at all and the switching is put in place perfectly to hit with the side of your foot.

I wanted a nice boost pedal and i saw that these were on sale. The Maxon OD808. It sure makes your leads sing

I also picked up a Fulltone deja vibe.

This is my fave pedal of all. The Diamond Quantum Leap made in Canada. Lots of sounds and worth the price. They have great pedals!!
The vid explains it all.

Except for my Yamaha THR i am done with amp simulation. It never was for me so I wanted another little amp with tubes for home use and to drag to friends places and after almost buying the Vox i bought a used Blackstar HT-5. This thing is loud though lol. I went for this because its the only smaller tube amp with an effects loop and direct interface.

i used this with the recent Rush song i did.

Congrats on these finds.  Sounds like quite a deal on the amp (before you went nuts with everything else). Having said that, you don't have to rationalize anything to us.

I also got a Boss tu-3, a nano holy grail, and a line 6 Echo park. As i look at my pedals and think they are worth more than the amp i guess i have to rationalize but it is with myself and not anyone else.  ;D

Congrats! Real nice gear, couldn't think of a more deserving musician for it.
I'm looking for a good drive  pedal, but no where near the cost of the Blackstar.. aren't they like $250?
Looks like your set. Have fun!

Yes i saw that. Amazon.ca is a total BS ripoff! I bought mine in the states 4 months ago when our dollar was better.
I saved $200 bucks compared to that. I would never have bought it for that price!!
